Ingredients
Sweet Corn , cream style - 150 grams
Sweet corn kernels (boiled) - 1/2 cup
Vegetable stock - 4-5 cups
Cabbage (finely chopped) - 1/3 cup
Carrot (finely chopped) - 1/3 cup
Cornflour/ corn starch - 3 tbsp
Sugar - 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste
White pepper powder 1/4 teaspoon
Spring onion greens (chopped) - 2 tbsp (optional)

Method
- Heat a pan, add cream style sweetcorn, vegetable stock and stir continously.
- Add cabbage, carrot, boiled corn and stir to mix well. Cook for 5 min on medium flame.
- Mix the cornflour in 4 tbsps of vegetable stock or water and keep aside.
- Add sugar and salt to the simmering soup and cook further for 3-4 mts. Add white pepper powder and mix.
- Add the cornflour mixture and go on stirring till the soup thickens. Turn off heat and pour into soup bowls.
- Garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot.
Tips
- Instead of cream style sweetcorn can, you can crush some frozen corn, sugar and milk and bring this mixture to boil.
- You can also add beans as another vegetable.
