Description: The name of this dessert treat comes from the fact that 7 cups of ingredients are used to make it. This is a very popular Indian sweet usually made on special occasions, but you could make it on weekends or for dessert whenever you want. Its a very easy and mouth melting sweet to make.
Ingredients
Chickpea flour (besan) - 1 cup
Ghee - 1 cup
Coconut grated (fresh/dry) - 1 cup
Milk - 1 cup
Sugar - 3 cups
Cashew nuts for garnishing.

Method
- In a nonstick thick bottomed vessel, put all these ingredients together. First add coconut, sugar ,flour and milk. At the end add ghee and make sure there are no lumps.
- Put it on high flame for first 5 mins, then decrease the flame and let it cook.
- Keep stirring in between.
- After some time when the mixture starts thickening, stir continuously with a wooden spatula.
- Continue the above procedure till the mixture turns thick and starts leaving the edges of pan.
- Then remove it from the stove and pour it on a greased plate.
- Flatten the mixture smooth, garnish with roasted cashews immediately and cut into pieces.

Tips
- The sweet tastes best with fresh grated coconut.
- Grease the plate with ghee.
- Once the mixture is removed from flame it solidifies quickly, so flattening or garnishing and cutting should be done immediately.
