Cooking Time: 15 -20 mins.
Serves: 4 people.
Description: Chip Paneer Boats is a crispy, spicy starter that you can not eat just one. Goes well for any cocktail party or as a evening snack. You can either deep fry in oil or grill it in an oven/airfryer. As the name goes this starter consists mainly of paneer(Cottage Cheese) with potato slice (chip) in shape of a boat. As i like potatoes in any form and paneer i came up with this recipe and my family are in love with it.

Method
- Mix all the ingredients except Paneer, potato and oil to make a batter consistency as shown in the first picture below.
- Add Paneer cubes into the batter and let it marinate for 5 - 10 min.
- Slice raw potatoes with skin to 1-2 cm almost double the thickness of a potato chip thickness.
- Now take a tooth pick and prick one side of potato slice as shown in the second picture below.
- To the same toothpick add marinated paneer and then poke the other end of potato slice as shown in the first picture below.
- Repeat the same procedure with remaining paneer cubes.
- Now heat oil in a pan for deep frying. When the oil is hot enough deep fry all the sticks on high flame. Frying on high flame is necessary to keep paneer crispy from outside and juicy from inside.
- Drain on an absorbent tissue and serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.

Tips
- You can grill in an oven or use an airfyer to have the healthy option, but the taste might change slightly.
- You can add natural red color if you want to make your starter more attractive, but its completely optional.
- You can deep fry only paneer without potato slices also, its will taste good.
- This dish tatses best when served hot.
